Iraqi Soc
Shakoo makoo ayni! The recently rejuvenated Iraqi Society is dedicated to Iraqis and non-Iraqis alike, of all backgrounds and cultures, seeking fresh and innovative members to take part in the various genres of events we have planned for the coming year.
From cultural to political, charity to just plain fun, we seek unity and peace whilst broadening our knowledge of our country and its people. In a country savaged by war and terror, we hope to show Imperial College there is so much more to being an Iraqi than politics and debate, and we stand by that with an active, friendly and enthusiastic committee to drive this aim forward.
Through providing a sense of community and bringing Iraqis together, we aim to explore and celebrate our distinctively rich culture and diversity whilst, quite simply, having a great time! We welcome all to join the Iraqi Society, and have a wonderful year planned ahead, and would like you to get involved – so see you at the Fresher’s fair!
