Ice Hockey
Ice hockey: probably the fastest, most exciting sport in the world. Forget the generic sports like football and rugby, take the opportunity to do a truly awesome sport at Uni with the Imperial Devils ice hockey team.
Don't worry if you've never played before, we'll teach you how to skate and provide all the ice hockey gear, and in no time you'll be competing in the British Universities Ice Hockey Association's league against other universities. Both our teams are mixed and the B-team competes in a non-checking (but not non-contact!) league. For players who have previous experience and beginners who progress, we have a highly successful A-team who were runners up in their league last season.
If that wasn't enough, there is an annual National Championships in Easter where all the university teams compete in an action packed weekend in Sheffield. Each team has a training session once a week and there are plenty of socials throughout the year to keep you entertained; search 'Imperial Devils' for more information.
