Hockey - Mens (Medics)
If you play hockey at any standard, high or low, or if you are keen to get involved in medical school life, and make loads of great (yes we all are), new friends then there is possibly no better way to do it than to join this club. The hockey club manages to carefully walk the tightrope; finely balancing athleticism with alcoholism. There is a complete range of skill levels within the club and we welcome top national and divisional players and complete novices or social members alike. We have three teams all playing every week in BUSA and ULU leagues. Our mixed tour to Oxford in October is a great way for freshers to get to know everyone in the mens’ and womens’ clubs and learn what true debauchery they can aspire to. Last year a tour even took us as far as Madrid to watch the Women’s world cup.
