The Imperial College Handball Club is one of the most recently founded clubs but one of the most interesting ones.
Haven’t heard of Handball? Handball is an indoor team sport where two teams of seven players each (six players and a goalkeeper) pass and bounce a ball trying to throw it in the goal of the opposing team. It’s a very fast and tactical as well as physically demanding sport which YOU shouldn’t miss out on.
We are currently playing in the 2nd Devision of the English Handball League and will be going to at least two tournaments, one of which takes place in Lyon, France!
However, even if you don't want to join any leagues and just play for the fun of it or just want to see what this weird mainland European sport is all about, we can accommodate for you with nice training sessions.
Training:
- every Wednesday from 8pm-10pm at Ethos
- gym sessions on Friday or Monday night, to be decided!
Every Friday night in the Union and several house parties to be organised!
