Imperial College Gospel Choir has only been running for a few years and in this time we have seen some amazing and exciting things. With a great turnover of members, the choir has grown from strength to strength, singing a variety of songs from traditional Christian Gospel Music to more contemporary and uplifting pieces. Whatever the genre of gospel music, the songs are always sung with joy and enthusiasm, truly from the heart. The diversity of gospel genres reflect the diversity of the current members – differing in backgrounds but united by the common interest in Gospel music.
We have enjoyed performing in major cultural events at Imperial, singing for charity and also at our own shows. There are weekly rehearsals and monthly socials, so there is always something to look forward to. A good voice is not a prerequisite – all you need is passion and enthusiasm.
