Imperial College Gliding Club gives you an incredible opportunity to soar high above the ground, execute amazing aerobatic manoeuvres and fly great distances across the country, all without an engine.
Join ICGC and you will be joining the oldest university gliding club, with one of the best fleets around. We have three glass-fibre gliders, a two-seat trainer and two high performance single seat gliders, which are often used in junior national competitions.
Don’t worry if you have had no previous experience, ICGC caters from absolute beginner to world-class standard. We offer trial flights as a first taster of flying, as well as being able to offer training and facilities at Lasham Airfield, the home of gliding in the UK. As well as flying at Lasham, ICGC organises lots of social events and tours across the UK and abroad, most recently to Slovakia and Finland.
Gliding is a fantastic way to fly – come for a trial flight to see for yourself. Look out for us at the Fresher’s Fair (you won’t miss us, we will be next to the glider!)
