Fellwanderers
The Fellwanderers are the walking club of Imperial. We organise weekend trips throughout the year to some stunning areas of the UK including Snowdonia, the Lake District, Dartmoor, the North York Moors and the Peak District. These trips alternate with more relaxing Sunday walks in the countryside close to London, often finishing at a local pub!
During holiday periods, we venture further afield, both in the UK and internationally. Recent trips have included trekking in the Swiss Alps and Transylvania, and mountain walking in central and northern Scotland. The club also has an active social side; we meet weekly for free lunches in the Union to discuss future trips and we try to have at least one barnight with free beer for members every term! In the past few years, we’ve also organised other social events, including paintballing.
