Debating (Medics)
The Medical Debating Society is an interactive institution, which is led by its members. Everyone, from the seasoned debater to the illiterate buffoon, is welcome.
While debate of medically related issues will comprise the major part of the society’s events, we do not seek to stifle debate on wider issues, outside of the field of medicine, that ignite passions nonetheless.
In addition to debates of the conventional British parliamentary format, we also intend to host occasional “Question time” style events, involving a panel who will respond to questions from the floor.
