acc cricketIC Cricket is one of the largest 'traditional' sports clubs in the Union.

Surprisingly to some, we have nets all through the winter months as well as playing outdoors in the summer. One of the major attractions we boast is that our nets are held at Lords' and the Oval. This year we plan continuity such that we have one session a week at each venue. Both men and women play to a high standard in BUCS and ULU leagues, as well as an indoor BUCS tournament.

Never played before? No problem, we have more than enough established members who understand the game and can teach you how to play. Certain sports seem boring to the world at large; sadly, cricket is one of these (if you've never played). We don't think it should be and want you to give it a try. In fact, we dare you to.

What if you're a fresher looking for a club just to meet some new people and have some fun? Again, we're glad to have you. Social events run throughout the year, with dinners, bar nights, trip and various other activities. There even the possibility of having a club outing to watch some cricket as well, which might just happen...

Due to unprecedented demand, nets are by invitation only so for your chance to attend, make sure that you join our mailing list.

Those who signed up at Fresher's Fair will be added to this automatically, but others who are interested should e-mail cricket.club@ic.ac.uk

Membership is also available for purchase through the Union website.
