The IC Cooking Society aims to teach its members learn how to cook tasty, creative, healthy, cheap and international food. We promote healthy eating and believe in cooking as an art, a skill and a fun activity essential to all.

University life means having to cook for yourself, which may seem daunting to many. The cooking society is the ideal place to get started, helping you to avoid burning down your houses and halls of residence. Our sessions are designed to allow full participation of both expert and beginner cooks, so don’t be put off if the elusive technique of egg boiling evades you! And for those of you who fancy yourselves as the next Gordon Ramsey you will get the opportunity to wow us with your intricate recipes and learn some new ones along the way.

We pride ourselves of being a multicultural society with members from 6 different continents. As such, as a club, we can boast of a range of backgrounds and culinary cultures, reflected in our cooking activities.
