Contemporary Music
In ICCMS, musicians of all levels and backgrounds meet to create music and learn about music together. Although free improvisation jam sessions have traditionally been the cornerstone of our activities, we're not specialised in any particular genre. What sets us apart is our special approach.
In ICCMS, anyone can participate in music-making, regardless of whether they've ever played an instrument or not. Our society isn't about showing off technique - it's about having cool ideas, listening to each other and expressing yourself through music.
At our jam sessions and workshops, the beginners can learn from the more experienced musicians and you can experiment around and try out new things instead of playing the same old stuff all the time. In our society, musicians come together to share their ideas and broaden each other's horizons. An open mind is all you need to take part in the fun!
