Imperial's Christian Medical Fellowship (CMF) offers support, encouragement and fellowship to every Christian medic. Whether you're a fresher or final year, grad-entry or Oxbridge, committed Christian or just curious, everyone is welcome to join.
Settling in at university can be a challenging transition, so our Brothers and Sisters Scheme, which pairs freshers with existing members for their whole time at Imperial, offers support and guidance in issues of faith and in our studies.
Weekly prayer groups across the campuses and monthly socials such as bowling and proper home-cooked dinners, give us a great opportunity to meet, build friendships and encourage each other in our walk with Christ throughout the year.
Imperial CMF acts to serve the whole medical school community and beyond. We run events that enable all medics to consider current ethical issues such as assisted suicide and abortion. We also provide educational support, such as the year 3 mock practical exam. We fundraise for several charities, including Operation Christmas Child and Medair. The highlight of the year is the national CMF student conference, which is extremely popular with Imperial students. It sees hundreds of medics from all over the UK descend on Derbyshire for a weekend full of fun, teaching and worship.
