INTRODUCTION
Know how to play basketball and go to Imperial College? Or an affiliate of the Imperial College Student Union(for American Exchange Students)? Why not try out for the Imperial College Vectors Basketball Team!
We have one Men's and one Women's Team who both compete in the BUCS(national) and ULU(London) Leagues. The Men's Team have been very successful winning the ULU Premier Division Championships for two years in a row whilst the Women's have also been successful winning the ULU Division 1 Championship after a turnaround undefeated season.
A spot on the roster on the Men's team is very competitive, however don't let that deter you and come for our tryouts! Determination and commitment is just as important as talent.
There is a newly formed Mens 2nd Team now whom are participating in the ULU league.
As for the Women's Team, we are continuously looking for players and if you have an interest in playing for the Imperial Vectors please do contact Sara Arbos Torrent(the Women's Team Captain).
Both teams expect to have about a 15-20 game season including two annual knockout tournaments.
There will be an IDEA League Tournament held in Germany this year and the Imperial Vectors expect to compete in it.
