Clubs & Societies
The Union funds over 300 student clubs & societies with more than 10,000 members. As a member of the Union you may join any Union club or society. There are no restrictions on who may join a particular club or how many clubs you may join (though you may have to pay a membership fee for some clubs).
All clubs are run by elected students who represent the members interests. You will have a great say in the direction the club takes, the activity it takes part in and your level of involvement. For this reason, nearly every club will provide some form of activity to suit members at every possible level.
All Imperial students are automatically members of the Union (undergraduates and postgraduates). Other students studying in London can purchase temporary membership. Graduates of Imperial College may also purchase Life Membership of the Union.
These pages should provide you with all the information you need about Clubs & Societies at Imperial, whether you are a brand new student or an experienced Club Officer.
