The finale to One World Week, International Night, unlike most oversees society shows you find at imperial, showcases acts from a range of cultures, backgrounds and languages making it the only place where you can enjoy performances from all the international societies at Imperial in one show. It also provides a platform for some of the smaller societies to showcase their talents, cultures and traditions, alongside some of the bigger names, providing an evening of diverse and well rounded entertainment.

In the past we have seen comedy sketches, pantomimes, songs and dances, to name but a few, and this year we are expecting an even broader range of acts. Societies participating this year to date include (in no particular order): Japanese, Arabic, Malaysian, Cypriot, West Indian, Polish, Tap Dance, Capoeira, Belly Dancing, French and Afro Caribbean.

The proceeds from the show will be going to The Prince’s Trust and Haiti Appeal - two charities in great need of our support.

I look forward to seeing you all there to raise as much money as possible for charity, and to enjoy a splendid evening of entertainment.
